Royal PG is a community of working professionals and students. These rules exist to ensure everyone has a safe, peaceful, and comfortable living experience. By staying with us, you agree to abide by all the following terms.
House Rules
Rules by Category
Our rules are designed to protect every resident equally. Please read each section carefully before joining.
- Rent must be paid by the 7th of every month.
- A fine of ₹100 per day is charged after the 7th.
- Only UPI or bank transfer accepted — no cash.
- Room rent is due within 24 hours of joining.
- Month is counted from the 1st to the 30th.
- Minimum 2-month stay is mandatory.
- Security is not refunded without completing 2 months.
- 30 days written notice must be given before vacating.
- Acknowledgment from the manager is mandatory after notice.
- Leaving date is the 30th of every month.
- Guests are strictly not allowed inside the PG.
- ₹500 per day charged if a guest comes with a meal.
- ₹800 fine for any guest found in the room without prior information.
- Always inform management before any visitor arrives.
- Always lock your storage portion before going out.
- ₹500 fine for lost key or door lock.
- ₹500 deep-cleaning charge on vacating.
- If room shifting is required, the newly joined resident moves.
- Discount is valid only if stay exceeds 3 months.
- Keep valuables (laptop, mobile, charger, purse) in your storage portion.
- PG is not responsible for theft by a room partner.
- CCTV surveillance is active 24/7 in all common areas.
- Do not share room keys with anyone outside the PG.
- Taking utensils (thali, glass, water jug) to the room: ₹200 fine.
- Food packing is not allowed. Packing charge: ₹600.
- Any property damage must be paid for in full.
- Disturbing other members or staff leads to immediate eviction.
- Kitchen is closed on the last Sunday of every month.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the security deposit and is it refundable?
The security deposit is ₹4,000 and is fully refundable after completing the minimum 2-month stay and giving 30 days written notice to vacate. A ₹500 deep-cleaning charge is deducted on exit.
What happens if I need to leave before 2 months?
The security deposit is not refunded if you leave before completing the minimum 2-month stay. We recommend being sure before joining.
Can my family visit me at the PG?
Yes — family and guests can visit during visiting hours: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, all 7 days. Guests staying overnight or entering rooms without prior information will attract a fine.
What payment methods are accepted for rent?
Only UPI or bank transfer. No cash accepted. Rent is due by the 7th of every month, with a ₹100/day fine after that date.
How is the notice period handled?
You must give 30 days written notice before your intended vacating date (always the 30th of the month). The manager must acknowledge receipt of the notice for it to be valid.
